Donna is our education convenor. Working in education for over 12 years she understands the issues our members in schools and early years settings face on a daily basis. GMB Union Representatives are people who believe in standing up for fairness and helping other members in their work place. They come from a variety of backgrounds and positions in their workplace.

GMB Workplace Representatives usually take on the role of both Workplace Organiser (Shop Steward) and Safety Rep. Whatever role you take on, GMB will be here to support and train you.

Bio:
Along with being Branch President, Ian has recently undertaken his GMB representative training and earlier this year was selected as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Halesowen and Rowley Regis for the Labour Party, although not elected at the 2019 General Election, Ian remains a dedicated community activist. Ian is on hand to respond to any enquiry relating to branch matters.

Bio:
In addition to her role within branch, Sarah is currently GMB's equality lead for women, sitting on the National and Regional Equality Forum along with being a member of our regional womens group. Sarah is on hand to answer and assist with queries in relation to equality related issues, and to further assist members has recently completed a TUC Diploma in Equalities and an NVQ in counselling and has a qualification in Employment Law.
