It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this post, We have just heard the news of the passing of Sandwell Council Leader, Councillor Darren Cooper. Whilst we had our differences in the workplace Darren & I shared many of the same hobbies, and often enjoyed a chat about fishing and the baggies.
All of us at GMB Sandwell send our deepest condolences to Darren’s wife, family and many friends at this sad time.
R.I.P Darren, it is a sad day for Sandwell.
